How small is Quinn really?

I finally got my scale to work (funny that I used to use it every day for Kaitlyn), Quinn is 29 months old and weighs a whopping 23 pounds..

How small is that? he is a whopping 1% on the growth charts, that's less than Kaitlyn was at this age. Here is a chart if you want to check your child's weight.

Kaitlyn, who is actually eating like a champ, is 5 years old and is only 32 pounds....

So I try not to worry about either of them, but Quinn REALLY doesn't eat much at all.

I'm considering maybe trying reflux meds again...

Yeah, I have a 21 month old weighing in at 17 pounds (conveniently no longer remember how to convert to kilos since discharge). Oh how we have worked to avoid a feeding tube after discharge. Sometimes I think we are crazy, but think in the end it will all be worth it..... Yes, the in-laws turkey is bigger than her this year!

Having a kid who won't eat really breaks your heart and causes so much worry!

Liz, it must be so worrisome for you. What does you pediatrician say about it? If you think of resuming medications you could consider a medical advice first. The pediatrician might have had to deal with other cases like Quinn's and this might help. You've done wonders so far, I'm confident you'll work out something. Best wishes to you all.
