And to finish off everything, I thought this was a funny picture. Kaitlyn attached to her feeding pump, in her new crawling position, leaning over her bowl (which is a toy). But I've certainly used this bowl in a pinch to try to catch vomit. She's not actually vomiting in this picture, but it's funny none-the-less!

I am so glad to see she is doing so well. What an inspiration !!
Liz- thanks for all the pictures, it was so great to see how big Miss K is getting. Those goofy smiles are precious. Good luck finding a nurse to help you out.

Hello,
I just wanted to show my appreciation for your story and your photos. My son was born at 26weeks, 5 days (or thereabouts). Thing is, I wasn't there - we adopted him a year later from an orphanage. At times I become obsessed with trying to imagine what he looked like at birth. I still haven't been able to find a picture to match his birth weight (1200 grams, or 2.7 pounds. It's great to see that your daughter is doing well...my son is two now and much healthier than he was a year ago. If you feel like it, I'd be enormously grateful if you could point me to one of your photos that shows Katie around 2.5 pounds. It would help me get a sense for how tiny my baby was (although I know he was big for his gestational age :-) Thank you and I wish you all the best. holomkova@yahoo.com
I am so glad to see her smiling, much more often now it seems. So the bowl.......resembles my dogs bowl, which Zach loves, he also loves to eat dog food. She looks like she is progressing well. Thanks for the pictures, I love them.
